Is ‘The X Factor’ UK new tonight with the Six-Chair Challenge on ITV?

X Factor -You know that “The X Factor” hyped up relentless the Six-Chair Challenge going into this weekend. However, what you may not have realized so much was that we were not in store for a two-night event.

Due to (once again) coverage of rugby on ITV Saturday, the British singing competition will be holding back on its biggest event so far in the competition until Sunday. We know why the show loves doing this challenge: It’s super-competitive, since it basically forces singers to try to one-up each other in a high-pressure, almost Gladiator-like environment. We don’t really love it for the same reason, especially since nobody feels that comfortable doing it.

We’re not sure just yet how the series is going to be planning out in terms of scheduling this challenge. We suppose that it is possible that they throw the entire event into the span of a single episode, but that seems like you are cramming in a lot of performances. The problem here is mostly that you do want to get eventually to the live shows, and we’re starting to get near the point in time where those need to start taking place. You don’t want to cram too much in at the last second, so it’s better to just trim some of the fat here.

After all, let’s put it this way: Are you going to be that sad over not seeing performances from people you really have not seen at any point this season?
