‘The Blacklist’ season 3, episode 2 preview: James Spader, Megan Boone’s story in ‘Marvin Gerard’

The Blacklist logo any seasonThe premiere of “The Blacklist” featured the early stages of Liz Keen on the run with Red, but moving into the new episode next week, we could be seeing her trying a very different strategy: Hoping to seek asylum on Russian soil. She is left in a situation where Red is really her only hope to secure some sort of future, and the two have to work together with the title character to ensure that the resolution is something in their favor.

The problem for these two, and the good news when it comes to the quality of this show, is that Ressler is not terrible at his job by any means. The synopsis below contains some more information in regards to what to expect:

“Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) is hot on the trail for Liz (Megan Boone) after she escapes to the Russian embassy for safety. There is no one left for her to trust but Red (James Spader), who enlists a lawyer named Marvin Gerard to get them out of a sticky hostage situation. Meanwhile, the FBI tries to force Cooper (Harry Lennix) out of the task force.”

One thing that we do really enjoy about the promo below, and that is the fact that we are getting to see more of a serialized arc this time around for these characters. We’ve got a defined series of events that is worth following, and not so much individual episodes that are focused on bringing a new character or two into the world and nothing else.
