‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 3 preview: Leonard’s impromptu bachelor party

Tonight, “The Big Bang Theory” on CBS gave us an episode that contained a heck of a lot of aftermath. We had what immediately happened following the split of Sheldon and Amy (it certainly was not pretty at times), and we also had Leonard and Penny trying to figure out the right sort of way to move past what happened with him and Mandy in the North Sea.

Next week, it feels like the show is going to focus on something that could be a lot of fun: A road trip to Mexico! Since Leonard decided to have a spur-of-the-moment wedding, this means that in turn, he missed out on a lot of the other traditions that grooms-to-be typically undergo like a bachelor party. This will be something that the group will try to correct, but in true “Big Bang Theory” fashion it ends rather badly.

Take a look at the synopsis for this episode below, in the event you have not seen it already:

“The guys’ science skills are put to the test when they get a flat tire during Leonard’s bachelor party weekend in Mexico. Also, the girls force Penny to finally tell her family that she eloped with Leonard.”

Keith Carradine is going to return as Penny’s father, and will seemingly have to act as a mouthpiece for her entire family unless there is someone else we are going to meet by surprise in the episode. To date, the show has not put that much effort into trying to cast Penny’s mom, and he is the only person listed.
