‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7 spoilers: Check out the intense new promo!

The season premiere on “NCIS: Los Angeles” is set to air starting on Monday, September 21, and if the latest sneak preview is to be believed, it is starting to look like this could be one of the best premieres that we have seen in some time.

One of the things that we have found constantly problematic about premiere episodes of procedurals is that they tend to just resolve cliffhangers, and then just move on to other things. This does not seem like this is what is going on with the new preview, posted via Entertainment Weekly. This preview shows a series of clips that make it clear that Callen is going rogue! What’s the reason for that? It may be so simple as him trying to uncover a mystery related to his father, which was presented to him via Hetty during the season 6 finale for the show.

Probably our favorite moment of this promo is seeing Hetty directly challenge Sam, as there is a complete difference of opinion in the office seemingly when it comes to what to do with this problem. One option is to go right after Callen, whereas another is to take more of a wait-and-see approach.

No matter what is chosen, it appears that all of the action this season is going to culminate in one of the most dangerous showdowns that we’ve seen yet. Could we see Sam and Callen actually go after each other? At the moment, all options are open in one way or another.
