NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 5 spoilers: ‘Scream’ actress signs up as…

The fifth season of “Grimm” is one that is already-anticipated, and we say that even with the knowledge that the show is very much changing. Juliette seems to be very much gone unless the show is trying to fool us, and Nick’s going to be in a very different place as a result of all that has transpired.

We cannot offer up too much information now about what is going to befall Nick moving forward, but we can at least tell you more about who he will interact with. According to a report from TVLine, Carlson Young of “Scream” fame (she plays Brooke Maddox over on that show) has been cast to play the role of Selina Golias, a woman who becomes targeted by a Wesen “king” (probably not the sort of person you want to be targeted by) after a series of undue circumstances.

“Grimm” is going to return on October 30, and to us one of the best things to report is mostly that the show is back in its old timeslot! We never really liked it running at 8:00 p.m. Eastern; it didn’t feel like a good fit for the show’s content, and to go along with that the ratings fell. We’d like to see this show at least make it to a sixth season; we don’t envision it being around for decades, but we like to think there is still a little bit of craziness left in the tank.
