‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 finale reportedly delayed

Catch Me -For all those hoping that “Beauty and the Beast” would be airing its season 3 finale the first week of September, we now have a little bit of news stating otherwise.

According to a new report coming in right now via SpoilerTV, the show’s last episode “Til Death Do Us Part” (probably a hopeful sign for those wanting a Vincent / Catherine wedding this season) is not going to air on September 3; it is being replaced instead with a repeat airing of this past week’s episode “Patient X.”

In case you are wondering what the reasoning for this particular move is, we actually think that it is rather simple: The show wants to do everything that it can to maximize ratings, and airing right before Labor Day Weekend is probably not something that they want. Sure, “Beauty and the Beast” has already been renewed for a fourth season 4 and we don’t think that this is really that big of a deal, but that’s just our own personal perception on it.

There is no confirmed air date for the finale now, but we feel pretty confident that it will air September 10. There’s no real reason to delay it further, since doing so would cause some more casual viewers to think that episode 12 of the series is the last one. They don’t want to ultimately put themselves in that sort of situation.

As for some of the stories that the show needs to wrap up before we get to the finale, the biggest one at the moment is merely a matter of Liam, and trying to figure out if he is really helpful or hurtful for what Vincent wants to accomplish.
