‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Ben Higgins could be announced on next ‘After Paradise’

Want to know when Ben Higgins could be announced as the next “Bachelor”? Well, it’s only in a week’s time! The official announcement is coming on the next week’s “After Paradise,” and while we should say that Ben is not confirmed yet to be the new lead, all of the signs at present are pointing towards him being the guy. We don’t see any reason why this would be changed now, since he is the fan favorite and we never bought those Nick Viall rumors anyway.

Here’s the funny thing about next week’s “After Paradise“: As much as finding out the next Bachelor may be a good reason for some of you to watch, you also have Joe Bailey on the show … so, there’s that. He has been regarded as the villain of the season, and mostly because of a decision that he made to go on the show for Samantha Steffen, a woman that he was talking to before the season started. We don’t really think that the issue here was so much that they were talking as it was the way that all of this happened, with him duping Juelia Kinney into falling for him so he could last a little bit longer.

Hopefully, after this upcoming episode of “After Paradise” we can just move on to other things … like remember when there was supposed to be some romance?

Whoever is chosen as “The Bachelor” will start filming his season in a matter of several weeks, and that will premiere at some point in January. This franchise is almost a year-round job now for Chris Harrison, given that the moment “The Bachelor” ends, “The Bachelorette” starts filming.
