Teen Choice Awards 2015: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Emily Bett Rickards among reader picks

The 2015 Teen Choice Awards are coming to Fox Sunday night, but before that show happens, we wanted to bring you the results of some of your official CarterMatt pre-show voting! This is something that we have had going on throughout the summer, just because we were curious to see how much congruence there is between the real winners and the projected ones on the internet. Obviously, this is not a perfect sampling; we have some shows that have bigger audiences than others on the site, but this was still fun to conduct.

Just to avoid any comments after the fact, here’s the reminder again: These are not the actual results. These are just who the readers over the past few months have decided should win. For the record, tends of thousands of votes were cast.

Drama Series – In our vote, “The Fosters” narrowly beat out “Castle.”

Sci-Fi / Fantasy Series – It was close, but “Arrow” took down “Once Upon a Time” and many more!

Comedy Series – “Austin & Ally.” We’ve never even seen the show! Disney is not our demographic really.

Actress, Drama – Lucy Hale barely beats out her “Pretty Little Liars” co-star Shay Mitchell.

Actor, Drama – Nathan Fillion has it here for “Castle” in a decisive victory.

Actor, Sci-Fi / Fantasy – Bob Morley of “The 100” almost won in a surprise vote, but Jared Padalecki did enough to come out on top.

Actress, Sci-Fi / Fantasy – Emily Bett Rickards of “Arrow” continued what is a pretty great run for the show here.

Actress, Comedy – Lea Michele won our poll for “Glee,” and we wouldn’t be surprised if she got a surfboard as a swan song to her show Sunday night.

Actor, Comedy – Ross Lynch of “Austin & Ally” took this narrowly over Chris Colfer.

TV Chemistry – It’s all about Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins of “Supernatural.” They dominated here in a landslide.

TV Liplock – This was a little closer, but only slightly since Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards of “Arrow” had more votes from our readers than Paul Wesley / Candice Accola and Ian Somerhalder / Nina Dobrev combined.

Summer Show – “Teen Wolf.” We can guarantee almost that this will be who walks away with it Sunday night.

Scene Stealer – This was very competitive, but it’s another win here for Dylan O’Brien, narrowly topping Sasha Pieterse of “Pretty Little Liars.”

Villain – This was the closest vote of our entire series. Chris Wood of “The Vampire Diaries” came out on top, but only with seven more votes than “The Flash” star Tom Cavanagh.

Reality Show – There were votes across the board here, but “The Voice” came away with the title narrowly.
