‘The Blacklist’ season 3: New James Spader – Megan Boone – Ryan Eggold photos released!

We are right in the thick of the summer TV season, and today the folks over at NBC decided to hand down what is a rather nice gift for all of us fans of “The Blacklist”: Some brand-new promotional photos for the upcoming season! This is not something that every network chooses to do now in promotion of a series, but we’re pretty stoked to get them here.

If you are looking for any sort of context clues from these images, you are pretty much out of luck. The only real giveaway in here is that judging from Liz Keen’s leather jacket, she clearly means business … right? It is somewhat of a role-reversal entering the season, given that she is perceived to be more of the fugitive, while Tom Keen is suddenly viewed as more of an innocent. You know that these two are going to cross paths at some point.

As for Raymond Reddington, it’s pretty clear that he will have his hands in everything before we get to the end of the third season. That’s just his way.

Above is your first-look photo of James Spader looking incredibly relaxed in the middle of what seems to be the abandoned floor of the building. Meanwhile, the shots of Megan Boone and Ryan Eggold are below. For some reason, Tom has lost his shoes.

The new season of the show is going to be premiering this September on NBC, and it will still be in that Thursday timeslot at 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
