‘The Bachelor’: Andi Dorfman on Nick Viall, Ben Higgins possibilities

 

 

 

We should mention here that we have tried pretty desperately to avoid the rumors about Nick Viall becoming the next “Bachelor” star, and not because we are trying to slam him or not take him seriously as a person. It’s more that we do not take him seriously as a contender to take on the title next season. To us, it is almost certainly Ben Higgins, and it is not even close. This is all very reminiscent of last summer, where Arie Luyendyk Jr. was supposedly some sort of serious contender before it was given to Chris Soules instead.

What may surprise you today is that while Andi Dorfman may not get along too well with Nick (who famously got very personal with her on the “After the Final Rose” special), she does not necessarily think he would be a bad Bachelor. Just take a look at what she says to Us Weekly:

“I had my ups and downs with Nick, but the thing I will say about him is I know that he is genuine in what he wants and that is love … Whether or not he goes about it the way that everybody else would. I still definitely believe that his intentions are absolutely to fall in love. So I think that’s another great characteristic that you need for a Bachelor, but we’ll see.”

As for Ben, Andi was even more positive and calling him “really genuine and sweet and cute” and then saying that “he would make a great Bachelor.” Most of the men from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season seem to be supporting Ben as the choice, and the same goes for fans. We do think it’s possible that we do see Nick on some form of the franchise again, but at this point we feel like it may be better for him to just try something away from the show.
