‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: Norman Reedus on Alexandria struggle

Walking DeadWhile we saw a good portion of “The Walking Dead” season 5 in Alexandria, consider that almost a warm-up period for what is to come in season 6. Some of our characters will have spent a significant amount of time in the town, and as a result of that we’re going to have a chance to see how they really adapt to living in somewhere reasonably normal for a long period of time. Some may be able to make the adjustment … but we are pretty sure that not all of them are going to be able to handle this without any problems.

This struggle is something that Norman Reedus was asked about in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, and he chose to respond to what is coming up for the entire group with the following message:

“You’ve taken a bunch of wild animals and put them in a domestic environment, and some of them prefer to be wild animals, and some of them can’t figure out how to be anything other than that. So we’ve come to a place where we can live with the public or live in a community and us having inner turmoil with trying to discover if that’s possible at all.”

Daryl is obviously one of the people we are most worried about when it comes to the adjustment process. After all, this is a guy who struggled drastically with finding a how for himself before we even got around to the start of the zombie apocalypse, so how do you really expect him to find a place in the world now? Anytime we have Daryl onscreen we’re excited … but we may be even more so come Sunday, October 11.
