‘Ink Master’ exclusive: Earl Noble on elimination, judges and being on the show

We are being completely honest here when we say that Earl Noble’s elimination on “Ink Master” this week was one of the more frustrating eliminations we’ve seen. Watching him go home over Dave Kruseman who didn’t fulfill the challenge was mind boggling to us – even more so when you add in the fact that Miami Burgess just went home a few weeks ago for not fulfilling the challenge requirements. How is this worthy of an elimination for Miami, but not for Kruseman?

With that being said we were really excited to talk with Earl and ask him what he thought of his elimination over Kruseman, what he felt was the hardest part about being on “Ink Master” and a few of the decision that the judges made that has us all shaking our heads at home. Ready to hear what Earl has to say? Let’s jump in!

———-

CarterMatt: Were you surprised with the judges decision to send you home over Dave Kruseman and why?

Earl Noble: I feel everyone, not only myself, was very surprised at their decision to keep (Kruseman). I feel that I was short changed the opportunity to go further.

Miami went home for a tattoo that did not fulfill the challenge requirements, but Kruseman was saved for the same thing. What are your thoughts on why this happened?

Miami should not have gone home. There were much worse tattoos done that day, period.

When Dave Clarke defended you against the judges criticism in week two, why were you unhappy with his actions?

When Dave defended me it was nice to have a friend feel concerned, but I do not need anyone to speak for me or defend me. I can fight my own battles and I also understood what the judges were doing and saying.

Who did you think was your biggest competition and what makes them a tough competitor?

I feel the competition itself was my biggest competition, not the artists. All of them are worthy competitors.

The environment looks incredibly stressful, what did you find to be the biggest challenge being on “Ink Master”?

The environment  on the show is incredibly stressful, and the moment they see you stressing, everyone will attack and push you further into the hole. The hardest part about being on Ink Master is being on Ink Master.

If you had a second chance to come back to the show, would you and would you do anything differently?

If I had a second chance to be on the show, I would not play friendly. I also would follow their rules to a “T”, and hope that I would not get eliminated for FOLLOWING THE RULES.

If someone wants to book an appointment with you to get tattooed, what is the best way for them to get in touch with you?

If anyone would like to book an appointment with me they may contact me on Facebook, Email ([email protected]) or call the shop Black Amethyst Tattoo – 727.498.6459!

A very special thanks to Earl for talking with us about his time on the show. It was a difficult elimination and we were really fired up after watching him go home when he really shouldn’t have. At least we had a chance to see some of what Earl can do and with talent like his we know that he’s going to be booked solid for the next year.
