‘Homeland’ season 5 video: A tiny new tease featuring Claire Danes, F. Murray Abraham

HomelandJust in case you needed some further evidence that F. Murray Abraham was going to return as Dar Adal during the fifth season of “Homeland,” let’s just say that you’ve got some new evidence of that courtesy of the video below!

This video is not particularly the lengthiest one in the world, but it does at least remind you of a few simple things:

1. Production is at present underway in Germany. This is the first time that a full season of an American series has been filmed in the country, and to us this is exciting. It’s a chance to see a completely different sort of architecture and style than we have seen on the show before, and it could give us an extra element of culture. There is so much about this location that Americans do not know about, so there is quite a bit to be unearthed here.

2. Claire Danes comments on handcuff injuries, which are apparently very common on the “Homeland” set.

Filming will continue for much of the rest of the summer and fall, and when the story picks up, a significant amount of time will have passed since the most recent season. Carrie is out of the CIA and is working seemingly in Europe, but given that Abraham and Mandy Patinkin are both still around, you have to figure that there could be a way in which she is seemingly thrown back into this organization once again. Hopefully, the first few episodes of the season will work to paint that picture.
