‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Clay falls on his own sword (again)
Last night, Clay was saying that he would do everything that he could to ensure that Shelli stuck around on “Big Brother 17,” and we are definitely getting more evidence of that this afternoon in the time since the Power of Veto Competition.
Thanks to James winning, “Clelli” realized that they no longer hold any power, and are instead desperately seeking some sort of way to stick around in the game a little while longer. This includes trying to convince James that there are reasons to keep them and nominate someone like Steve, who they feel they can get the votes to eliminate. They’ve already told him that they could be jury votes for him, that other people will come after him, and that there is still time to turn this around.
There’s probably going to be a very different sort of campaign this week. Most of the insanity will happen today and tomorrow, because if Clay and Shelli stay on the block, we do not see them campaigning against one another at all. Clay will try to just be the martyr and sacrifice his own game.
Here is the real interesting wrinkle in all of this: Vanessa may try to rally her alliance to keep Shelli, and if this happens we would not be altogether shocked to see James save Clay with the Veto, and the name someone like Liz as a replacement … just to ensure that he gets the person to leave the game who he really wants to see depart. Crazier things have happened, though, and that is a huge risk since there’s always a chance the house flips and takes down Liz.
