‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ preview: Meghan King Edmonds battles more with Vicki Gunvalson

The stars of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” are going to be in Tahiti for the next new episode of the show airing on Bravo Monday night, so of course when you think about that you would make the assumption that they are happy. Why wouldn’t they be?

Well, somehow the cast of this show finds a way to be the fun police, and turn something that should be really pleasant into something rather miserable. The synopsis below for the hour explains in part what goes wrong:

“It’s not all fun in the Tahitian sun as the women of the OC travel to the island of Moorea. When they go swimming with sharks, Meghan discovers that the real danger isn’t in the water. Later, the group splits up for dinner leaving Shannon, Vicki and Tamra to not only take numerous shots at the bar, but also a few shots at Heather and Meghan’s friendship.”

So why is Meghan King Edmonds going to be on the defensive? We’ve seen from previews for this episode that she will clash with both Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson over a subject that we have seen debated so much before: Whether or not she can have the same love for her stepchildren as parents of biological children do. We get that Meghan is trying to find a way to express that they care, but what we don’t understand is why there’s even a need to argue this. If everyone loves their kids and wants the best for them, shouldn’t that be enough?
