‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Previewing the Veto Competition

While we have yet to learn who the players for the Veto are going to be on the “Big Brother 17” live feeds Saturday, one thing does feel pretty clear right now: This is a competition that Clay and Shelli desperately need to win if they want to have a shot at them both staying for one more week.

One thing that is really working for them is that depending on who the other players are, they genuinely have a good chance of one of them winning. Steve wants to keep them around as big targets, if need be. Meanwhile, Becky is at least reasonably close them, and we have a feeling that Vanessa is probably just going to throw it to ensure that no more blood gets on her hands. While there is incentive for Steve / Becky, it still would not shock us if these three players do not try that hard to win.

The worst-case scenario for Shelli and Clay would be if the players are a combination of Meg, Jackie, the twins, and Austin. Meg and Jackie will try to support James (who will certainly be trying hard), while Liz, Julia, and Austin will be fighting to ensure that none of them are a replacement nominee.

There was some conversation about replacements between Vanessa and “Clelli” last night, but it really was not that productive save that Vanessa wants to use Becky, while Clay and Shelli want to use Steve. The funny thing is that this is really neither of their decision to make, but they are still putting themselves in that seat.
