‘Mistresses’ season 3, episode 9 preview: What’s next for Calista, Joss in ‘Unreliable Witness’

The story on “Mistresses” as of late has been about a variety of things, but one of the biggest elements of the show at the moment is seeing the downfall in the Calista / Joss relationship. Remember when these two were getting along really well? It wasn’t that long ago, but the death of Luca obviously changes things thanks to a certain something known as “survival mode.” Calista is in that now, and she is willing to throw anyone under the bus to keep herself away from suspicion … including Joss.

Next week’s new episode is entitled “Unreliable Witness,” and just as you would expect, Calista and Joss are going to take center stage. If you want to get some specific scoop on what to expect, allow the synopsis below to be your guide:

“Feeling under the weather, Karen heads to the doctor and is stunned when she gets the results. April and Blair move their relationship forward, even though Lucy admits that she’s not fond of him. Marc continues to struggle with his old demons, but Harry is there to help him get back on track. Joss scrambles for evidence against Calista and when Calista twists the story to her benefit, the future looks very grim for Joss.”

There are only a few more episodes left this season, so we hope that there are a variety of stories resolved … including also something for April and Blair hopefully. This couple clearly has some stumbling blocks, with Blair’s feelings on discipline being a major one.
