‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Jason makes a pitch (finally)
For those who were feeling somewhat frustrated that Jason had not campaigned much for his life on “Big Brother 17,” he finally made a pitch to save his life late Wednesday night.
Most of his campaigning went right to Shelli and Clay, and he did make some good points trying to sell them on a final five that included the three of them plus Meg and Vanessa. Numbers-wise, this gets Clay & Shelli further if the alliance holds than the Sixth Sense once both of the twins enter the game. He also tried to argue that Becky could go after them in a Double-Eviction if she does manage to get a little bit of power.
Was Jason really that genuine in throwing James and Jackie under the bus for being reasonably useless players? We doubt it. We know from his Diary Room last night that he really doesn’t trust Vanessa, and it is not in Shelli / Clay’s best interest to keep him. They tried to blame him for coming to them too late with an idea, but they wouldn’t have accepted it anyway. There’s no reason to keep someone who is a smart gamer and a potential endurance threat in the game.
We’re glad that Jason at least made an effort, but we are somewhat bummed out still that Jason really has not tried that hard with Steve or Johnny Mac throughout the week, since we do think that there are arguments that could be made to the two of them when you look at some past nominations and the alliance that Audrey told James about. This information could have been enough to get things to change around … with an emphasis on “could.” Jason just does not like spending time with Steve. We’ve barely seen them speak one-on-one on the feeds at all.
