‘Devious Maids’ season 3, episode 10 preview: First look at ‘Whiplash’

As we start to get near the end of “Devious Maids” season 3, you have to think that there is going to be some resolution to some of the big stories taking place … including just what is going on with the murder case. However, we do not imagine that there will be too many answers in Monday night’s new episode “Whiplash,” just as we also imagine that you are not going to see J.K. Simmons show up as a tribute to the episode’s title.

Instead, the promo below seems to suggest that a surprising return could shock the neighborhood, and that we could see some our characters get a little bit closer to some answers. The official synopsis below via TV Guide only supports that further:

“Marisol questions the return of a familiar face to the neighborhood; Carmen’s lies begin to catch up to her; Zoila tries to prove she is a better maid than Joy; Rosie’s suspicions about Taylor lead her to a shocking discovery; Evelyn goes to extremes to keep Deion.”

While a certain sister series to “Devious Maids” in “UnREAL” is coming to a close on Lifetime Monday night, the end of one show does not have to mean at all that this one is going to be joining it. There are actually going to be three more episodes online this season after this one, and as a result of that you are going to get a great opportunity to see some more twists and turns the rest of the summer. (We just wish in the process that we were getting some other information regarding a fourth season.)
