‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Is there a new plan for Jason?
After spending some time plotting and processing, it is now looking like Jason and Meg are starting to come to life and try to do something to keep him in the “Big Brother” house. It’s a long shot, but at least they are trying instead of rolling over and as we’ve seen many times before, if you have the right argument and bend the right ear things can shift.
For one, last night Meg had a lengthy conversation with Clay, one where she tried to make it clear that Jason is targeting Austin and Liz (not entirely true) and that he doesn’t blame Clay, Shelli, or Vanessa for what has happened this week. She also tried to sell him on the idea that she and Jason would work with him beyond this week. Jason is also planning to use a long indoor lockdown today to try to convince Clay and Shelli that there could be an endurance competition coming, and he could take advantage of this opportunity to keep the two of them safe from going on the block. (We don’t love this argument that much, since Becky is also seemingly good at endurance and she could make the same pitch.)
To us, it feels like what Jason and Meg should be doing today is realizing that they are going to get nowhere with Shelli and Clay, and spend their time focusing instead on Johnny Mac and Steve. The big smoking gun that they have is what Audrey told James about the massive alliance that neither one of them was a part of. The fact that they have been frequently nominated, while Shelli, Vanessa, and Austin never have, should be a big clue to them. While Johnny Mac is close to Becky, he may be sold on the idea that being a part of this group is better than just a duo. We don’t actually think that it would work, but it’s worth trying.
At this point, what John may be thinking is that with Jason gone, he could still work with Becky, James, Jackie, and Meg and potentially be one of the most strategic people in this group. If they can then bring over Steve, that’s not a bad group at all … but Steve may need some convincing.
