‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5: Lana Parrilla, Ginnifer Goodwin coming to D23 Expo

The fifth season of “Once Upon a Time” is underway in September, but we have some good news for you: The San Diego Comic-Con panel is not the last chance you are going to have to see some of these people on the show before then!

It was announced this week that the D23 Expo, a great place for all things Disney, is going to pay host to a panel on Saturday, August 15 at Stage 23. This will be a chance for you to see co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis for a panel alongside series stars Ginnifer Goodwin and Lana Parrilla. Given the show is in the middle of production in Vancouver, it’s a rather-nice treat that some of the cast is going to be making the trip down!

One of the great things about this panel is that you’ll probably get a variety of Disney-related goodies; given that the show is introducing a Pixar character in Merida for the first time, we imagine that there is going to be quite a bit of news surround that, and of course some other popular characters like Goodwin’s Mary Margaret or Parrilla’s Regina.

One other reason to attend the panel is that they are hyping up an “exclusive sneak peek” at the season that you will get a chance to see there first. Sure, we imagine that waiting until September 27 is feasible, but why not embrace seeing something a little early. There’s also always the potential for a surprise or two along the way.
