‘America’s Got Talent’ preview: Michael Buble guest-judges, Dr. Danger’s All-Stars return

America's Got Talent -The second round of judge cuts on “America’s Got Talent” are starting up Tuesday night, and there are a pair of different reasons to be excited about this. First and foremost, you’ve got a great guest-judge in Michael Buble who has a ton of charisma. He is someone who has a good working relationship with NBC already, so we really cannot say that we are altogether surprised in the slightest to take on this role with the talent show.

As for how he is going to fare as a judge here, we have a feeling that he will have his work cut out for him mostly helping to determine just who he likes the best of the acts who perform. The promo specifically shows that we will be seeing more of Dr. Danger’s Daredevil All-Stars, who was one of the most impressive acts that we saw during the first round. We appreciate the emphasis that we’re getting on danger this season, and judging from the fact that the show is outdoors for at least part of the episode, we’ll be able to see them in their natural element.

In case you did not see the last judge-cut episode with Neil Patrick Harris, Buble also has a golden buzzer that he can push and automatically send an act through to the live shows at Radio City Music Hall. It doesn’t save them a performance or anything that they would have to give later, but it is a cool addition to the show.

We really like this format for the middle portion of the competition; it gives us more time with the individual contestants, and we don’t forget about them before the live rounds.
