ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8: Behind the scenes fun with Jon Huertas, Nathan Fillion, Seamus Dever
There are many great things that come from “Castle” starting up production on season 8. For one, there is of course the confidence of knowing that new episodes are being made. The new season will premiere in September, and that means you will finally get some answers to some long-burning questions, including whether or not Beckett decides to go into politics, and then what this move means in turns for Castle’s time on the force. Maybe he ends up joining Ryan and Esposito?
We like to throw that out there as a possibility here only because much of this article is about some fun times between Nathan Fillion, Jon Huertas, and Seamus Dever on the ABC show’s set as filming began. Huertas posted a couple of funny videos on Instagram, and you can see them below. It’s just a little bit of behind-the-scenes fun, but we like to see these here and there as reminders that the cast really enjoys working together.
The entire cast is going to be hard at work on the show most likely until the spring, and it is far too early to start to conceive what sort of episodes are coming up. We assume that Huertas and Dever will each get at least one episode each revolving heavily around their characters, and hopefully new showrunners Terence Paul Winter and Alexi Hawley give them a nice mixture of fun character moments and also serious scenes to flex their acting muscles.
Is it possible that they will have some new co-workers around the precinct as well? It all depends on how you interpret some of the latest casting news.
