‘Royal Pains’ season 7, episode 6 preview: Evan and Hank battle over Boris

What exactly is Boris up to on “Royal Pains”? This is a very good question, but also one that you probably find yourself asking almost every week. This is a guy who is constantly in the midst of a potentially dangerous plan, and while many of these characters find themselves worrying about danger from time to time, they do tend to make it out relatively unscathed.

Will that also happen for Evan in his present situation? You have to hope so, but as Hank warns him in a new preview via Entertainment Weekly, Boris often has something that is lurking behind the scenes. He is a man of secrets, and Evan also seems to be holding back in terms of just how much this is impacting him emotionally. He is exhausted, and having a hard time knowing what the future holds for him.

So what else is Evan doing? Think in terms of him lashing out. Rather than accepting any sort of love and support from his brother, we see him here doing something more along the lines of accusing him of being somewhat jealous over the time he is getting in the spotlight. We’re not sure that jealousy is the right way to describe it, but we do think there is an unconscious part of Hank that likes being the hero and being completely in the know.
