‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: Boss on Heath, other new characters

This is probably going to end up being quite the important week for “The Walking Dead,” and there are a variety of reasons for that. One of the major ones, though, is simply due to the upcoming presentation for the show at San Diego Comic-Con. It is there we may learn some more news about what to expect on season 6, and maybe some new characters to go along with it.

For the time being, though, we just have Heath. In case you are curious in what the show’s boss has to say about him, and how there will be other newcomers turning up eventually, take a look at Scott M. Gimple’s comments via Entertainment Weekly below:

“We have seen Heath on the internet when we announced it. Corey Hawkins is playing him, and he’s terrific and I’m so excited to see him bring Heath to life. It’s been fun and he dove in with both feet. He’s tough and skeptical when the cameras are rolling, and then when they’re off he’s just like a goofy fan. He’s really, really excited to be there. There are other people that we’re going to see throughout the season from the comics, and I’m excited for people to see it, but I don’t want to tell them now. I think a few minor remixes, but some direct stuff from the comic as well, as far as these characters go.”

Hopefully, we are going to get a chance to find out who some of these people are sooner rather than later. We certainly know that there are a contingent of people excited to see Negan at some point, but there’s never been any 100% confirmation that he is coming.
