‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Liz’s Twin Twist joke and future considerations

Liz -With the replacement nominee plan set in stone for tomorrow in the “Big Brother 17” house, there is no real need for insanity to go down tonight. Everyone seems fairly well aware in some shape or form now that Meg is probably the replacement nominee, so most people are looking somewhat towards the future.

Before we jump too far ahead, though, let’s roll our eyes for a second at Meg for telling people that basically she is friends with Frankie Grande’s best friend, and that she met some other contestants from last season at one of his parties. Why in the world are you revealing that you are in the reality TV in-crowd already? We also know that she is friends with Andrea Boehlke from “Survivor,” but that is slightly less relevant and it wasn’t really talked about. While knowing other “Big Brother” players is inconsequential game-wise, it will make people think superficially that you have some sort of unfair advantage. Meg’s been good otherwise at not having a target.

Speaking of terrible moves, how about Liz joking tonight in the backyard that she’s “the twist”? It’s around 8:58 p.m. Big Brother time tonight for those who want to watch it, and she basically says “I’m the twin, you don’t realize I’m the twist” while running back and forth while Jeff and James are acting really creepy around her, saying that she is actually a temptress thrown into the game to distract the guys. (In general, it’s hard to find footage of Jeff and James not being complete creepers.)

There are some in social media already freaking out about this, but clearly this was a tongue-in-cheek joke on her part so that she and Julia can laugh about it later. Nobody seemed to take it altogether seriously, though we do wonder about Johnny Mac since he was back there and mostly quiet.

Other news from the night:

1. Shelli is probably telling Meg tonight herself that she is going up. She and Clay have also determined this week that they do like Austin, which is good for him since he doesn’t really have anyone.

2. We’re somewhat annoyed by Meg and Jason not being so kind in their conversations about Steve. There’s actually not too much bashing at all this season other than some targeted at Steve and Audrey. Da’Vonne gets some, but it is usually gameplay-related.

3. Our favorite thing tonight was Austin allowing Jeff to take credit for the Meg plan, which is another reason why we dig Austin’s game. He’s fine to work in the background.
