‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 5 preview: Stef discovers a pregnancy test

Monday night’s new episode of “The Fosters” is one that is still somewhat shrouded in mystery. For example, it is still not entirely clear just what is going to be coming up on when it comes to Callie and her rather impromptu decision to take a trip to Mexico. Isn’t that something that deserves a little bit of scrutiny, especially since she is taking it with Brandon?

Also in this episode is going to be a very interesting discovery from Stef: A box for the pregnancy test in the garbage. Who does it belong to? There are really only a handful of candidates, and we don’t think that the show is going to be throwing this in there if it was just someone throwing some garbage where it doesn’t belong.

One thing that is especially notable here, though, is that we’re just talking about the box. We don’t actually see a test anywhere. We’d be somewhat surprised if there is actually a character on this show who is expecting, mostly because that is something that feels a little more played-out across some other shows and this one does like to present itself as something that is both new and edgy.

Hopefully, we’re just going to get some answers one way or another this episode. Even if there is no pregnancy on the show, there is still conversation to be had about someone being sexually active and worried that they could be expecting a child.
