‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Is Ben Zorn definite candidate to replace Chris Soules?
Are we about to see a Ben Zorn led season of “The Bachelor“? While we cannot say that with any sort of confidence at the moment, there is something that at least counts as evidence: A partial endorsement from show host Chris Harrison. That always seems to be good for something, no?
In a new post on his Yahoo blog, Harrison made it clear that the personal trainer was loved by most of production and by Kaitlyn Bristowe. It is the line at the end of this quote that really should raise a couple of eyebrows out there:
“From the first day of this season Ben Z. has been a clear favorite, both of ours and of Kaitlyn’s. Watching him leave was painful, but he was a great sport every single day and I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of him.”
It feels like there are a couple of different things collectively working for Ben at the moment, with one of the biggest ones being that he is exactly what the franchise looks for in a leading man: He’s good-looking, athletic, and seems to have a touching backstory that will likely lead to him being very attractive to women right out of the gate. He also doesn’t appear to be on “Bachelor in Paradise” unless there is some last-minute announcement.
What is working against Ben, however, is that he is gone before we really get to the final weeks of the season, and someone like a Ben Higgins or even a notable winner like Josh Murray could be a little more of a high-profile choice.
We will likely learn who is the next “Bachelor” one way or another come the “After the Final Rose” special at the end of the season. Stay tuned, and click here to preview the next “Bachelorette” episode further.
