‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Who won the Power of Veto (week 2)?
The second week of “Big Brother 17” (at least that we are seeing) is now in high gear, and we feel like when it comes to great entertainment, the results of the Power of Veto Competition are precisely what everyone could have asked for: Johnny Mac now has a Veto around his neck!
Thanks to this victory, John can now ensure his safety, while at the same time showing himself to Shelli as someone who was willing to be a team player and throw the Battle of the Block. It’s crazy to expect the guy to stay up there given what we just saw happen with Jordan on “Big Brother Canada.” We’re not even that sure that Da’Vonne would go home over him, given the crazy alliance structure in the game right now.
Of course, Johnny Mac’s win does put Shelli as the sole Head of Household now in a bit of a pickle, given that Jason (who would have been a good replacement nominee) won the Battle of the Block and cannot be put up again. We’re going to stick with our statement from earlier that if Shelli wants to truly ensure that Day leaves the game this week, she has to nominate someone like Meg, who the house seems to mostly love and will never go home over her in a million years. Also, Meg’s probably more of a competition threat that she comes off as at the moment since she could do great in mental tasks. The problem is that she is a part of a group that also includes Shelli, Clay, Jeff, James, and a couple of others.
There are some other possibilities for Shelli, but putting up Audrey would assure that she goes home, and she has at least some ties with many other players in the house. You could try to go with someone like Jackie who has already done it. This is probably going to be a tough choice, since somebody’s going to be ticked off in the end.
