‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: Veto players and early desperation

Big Brother -Shelli is a “Big Brother” player who is certainly decisive, but at the moment it is looking she may be one who also has her back up against the wall if she wants her week as Head of Household to end in the way in which she wants.

As you may know by now, she is the sole HoH, which means in turn that her nominees of John and Da’Vonne are on the block still. The latter is definitely her target, as she feels like Day has been extremely aggressive and at times overly critical and strategic in the game. Still, this is a big move for her, given that getting rid of Audrey this week is a move that everyone in the game would’ve signed off on thanks to her own aggressive style. If Day does leave the game, this will end up being a rousing success, but we are pretty darn worried for John right now given some of his close allegiances.

The players in today’s Veto are Shelli plus the nominees, and then Meg, Steve, and Clay. Shelli drew “houseguest’s choice,” and so she of course picked her closest ally in Clay to go out there to compete.

While we are not entirely sure that this will happen (or even sure at all), if we were Shelli our hope would be to nominate Meg as a replacement nominee in the way John wins and takes himself off. Meg came close to saying before the competition that she would use the Veto on Day if she wins it, and that should tell Shelli whose side she is really on. Putting up Meg against Da’Vonne almost guarantees the latter goes home, and we’re not sure that Johnny Mac has the inroads in the house just yet for him staying to be a sure bet.

Now if Day does get off the block, there could be some serious trouble coming up for Shelli. At that point, she may have to look again at Audrey rather than alienate a big chunk of the house.

We’ll have the results later today, but for now head over here to get some of our other feed updates! Also, you can sign up here to get some additional TV news on everything we cover, sent right to you via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: CBS.)
