‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: First photos of Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Steven Yeun

“The Walking Dead” at this point knows that they have us hooked on the show. Just by releasing a small handful of promotional photos, they somehow have us even more hooked for the show than we even were before. That’s a tremendous achievement, and one that the AMC drama is ready to cultivate.

Below, you can see a trio of just-released photos from the upcoming sixth season courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. We’re not going to say that any of them are particularly noteworthy when it comes to content, other than maybe showing that Alexandria is not exactly going to be a safe zone at all moving forward. We know that the Wolves are out there and are a major threat, and it is very well possible that they are not the only ones. There will be other danger afoot in the town, and sooner or later there is a good chance that all of this will start to crumble. This is not a group that has a tendency to stay in one place forever.

The photos that we have feature fan favorites Daryl (Norman Reedus), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), and Glenn (Steven Yeun), who all went through a trying fifth season given what happened to Beth Greene in the midseason finale. Unfortunately for them, it’s probably not getting easier. This show tends to deal out a currency of death, and that is more than likely not changing at all.
