‘Celebrity Apprentice’ winner Arsenio Hall jokes about victory amidst Donald Trump controversy

Arsenio HallIt was only a matter of time before some “Celebrity Apprentice” alumni chose to have a little bit of fun at the expense of Donald Trump, so who better than a comedian and former winner in Arsenio Hall to do the trick? In a post on Twitter (see below), Arsenio jokes that he doesn’t “feel so good about winning” the NBC show anymore, and then goes on to make a Michael Vick comparison that would be a little bit shocking, at least if you actually forgot for some inexplicable reason that shocking people is part of the guy’s MO these days.

In some ways, we are surprised that more alumni from the show have not spoken out against Trump, but the reality here also is that many former big-name contestants like Geraldo Rivera at least are in somewhat similar circles. Also, you cannot deny that many of them benefited heavily from the show, Arsenio included. It was one of the key components to his short-lived late-night comeback.

Hall also retweeted an article saying that he should be a candidate to become the next host of the show in the wake of Trump and NBC parting ways, and we gotta say that we’d be on board with that! The same goes for Leeza Gibbons or Piers Morgan, who have all been a part of the show. We already lined out a list of some other contenders; personally, our feeling is that you need someone who is uber-rich beyond all imagination to make the show as ridiculous as possible.

If you missed it, Trump also has lost the Miss USA Pageant on NBC, and Univision previously pulled the Spanish-language version over comments that he made about Mexican immigrants. He continues to poll very high with some Americans in the Presidential race, but then very low with others.
