‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 2 preview: Holland Roden’s Lydia helps with night terrors

Lydia -When things go bump in the night, who do you call? Since the Ghostbusters are not in the “Teen Wolf” universe, perhaps Lydia really is one of your best choices … provided of course she is not locked away while possible visions of terrible things are projected out into the world. For all of you hoping to see Holland Roden front and center throughout the season, next week’s new episode “Parasomnia” will be paying off some of those dreams, at least per some of the information that is arriving at our doorstep now.

During this episode, we are going to see Lydia help a fellow classmate deal with night terrors, otherwise known as something awful that does not necessarily have to be supernatural at all. Just a bad memory or a traumatic experience can bring these out. So can a banshee offer up some healing? Time will tell. For those curious, our personal opinion is that the primary events of this story are most likely happening before we get to the meat of the story with the asylum in the future.

For those wanting scoop on something different, Stiles is going to show off his suspicious side in the episode, specifically towards another classmate. Who can it be? For the time being, it is somewhat easy to point the finger at Theo. Just look at the empirical evidence that is out there: He is a newcomer to Beacon Hills, he had heard stories on the legend of Scott McCall, and he is coming in at a time when things were starting to appear normal. Nothing in this town stays that way forever.

We should leave you here with a programming update: Due to MTV premiering “Scream” on Tuesday using this show as a lead-in (watch the opening of “Scream” here), “Teen Wolf” is airing tomorrow at a special time: 9:00 p.m. Eastern. Set your DVR accordingly if you are already watching something else. One way or the other, you will not want to miss this.
