‘The Voice’ UK may hire Paloma Faith after Rita Ora’s ‘X Factor’ departure

Big news -Earlier this week, the rumors finally became true in regards to Rita Ora: She is joining the new season of “The X Factor” in the UK! Of course, with this announcement does come some other breaking news elsewhere. Specifically, we are talking now about the future of “The Voice” UK. Since Ora is doing the ITV series, she no longer can really do the show over on the BBC, though ironically her reception there is one of the reasons why she has the new job alongside Simon Cowell.

Thanks to all of this, the BBC has to find a new replacement! Who are they eyeing right now? Think along the lines of Paloma Faith. According to The Sun, Faith is the current frontrunner to land the new judge position, though to be fair we are still early enough in the process that it is possible in theory for a variety of other people to take the spot, as well. The new season does not start filming until the fall.

Also worth noting at the moment is that it has not even been confirmed just yet that the likes of Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, and Ricky Wilson will be returning. We like to imagine for the most part that they will be, if for no other reason than that this show is a great platform for them to release new material.

If nothing else, Ora may have a better chance of finding a star on the ITV series; “The Voice” UK has not exactly been stellar in that department so far.
