‘Big Brother 17’ cast spoilers: Will Becky Burgess turn out to be a winner?
Is Becky Burgess a potential force to be reckoned with in the “Big Brother 17” house? We sense that the internet is somewhat divided on this. We feel like there are some out there who think that she is going to be really boring, and will probably coast pretty far just because she won’t do anything. Some think she will be an easy early boot.
However, we’re more of the mind that she is someone who could really surprise people and be more of a player than she lets on in her interview with Big Jeff or anyone else. While we have not officially made our winner pick just yet, she is someone who is extremely high on our list for a variety of reasons. She actually reminds us a little of “Survivor” great Kim Spradlin, but we’re not sure that she is as strategic and we haven’t actually see her play yet.
First impression – While working in the clothing-store business is not necessarily the most exciting job in the world, Becky has dealt with a wide variety of people and even lived in Germany for two years. Therefore, she’s got a lot of life experience despite being only 26 years old. Ideally we feel like you don’t want to be one of the younger people in the house, and she’s at the right age and maturity level that she should be able to relate to everyone, and she will not be seen as a threat.
Worst impression – Her big challenge is going to be making clearly-defined moves that people give her credit for in the end. There is an underlying sexism at times in the game that female strategists don’t often get the same attention, and she will have to combat that while also steering clear of being an easy pawn. She’ll need to get an alliance together and establish some authority, as in putting her on the block will be a move that comes back to haunt the Head of Household later.
One way or another, we just can’t see Becky going home early. She’s not going to be that annoying, she could win some competitions, and she doesn’t seem there to get an instant showmance and make silly comments in the diary room.
