‘The Bachelor’: Chris Soules on Whitney Bischoff breakup, Nick Viall on ‘The Bachelorette’ again

For those of you assuming that the Iowa farmer was going to give his first comments about Whitney Bischoff and what went wrong to Chris Harrison on “The Bachelorette” this summer, you may be surprised that he instead turned to sports program “The Dan Patrick Show” to do so instead. Of course, the subject of Whitney was brought up, and while he insisted that their engagement was real and that producers did not force him to pop the question, the relationship did not work out. He did not really get into any reasons why, but was still for the most part very complimentary of her and refused to say anything negative after the fact:

“I mean, it was a relationship. She’s a great person and she’ll be a friend for the rest of my life and I’ll always care about her … [It] just didn’t work out. It was two people that were mature and went into a weird situation, came out, [and] tried to make it work.”

Chris was a little more candid, meanwhile, when it comes to fellow former Andi Dorfman suitor Nick Viall coming back on “The Bachelorette” this season, where he is now trying to pursue Kaitlyn Bristowe:

“Nick is an interesting guy, and he really seems to enjoy being and wanting to continue to be, on ‘The Bachelor’ franchise … If I was those guys, I would be very irritated to know that he’s back on the show.”

Granted, we cannot really sit here and say that Chris is shying away from TV to be an ordinary farmer now either so maybe he shouldn’t be throwing rocks. After all, just remember here that the guy is currently set for a celebrity version of “Worst Cooks in America,” after being on “Dancing With The Stars”, and starring on “The Bachelor” and being on Andi’s season of “The Bachelorette”.
