‘Arrow’ season 4 video: Katie Cassidy, Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards look forward (and reflect)

There’s really not a whole lot of “Arrow” news out there right now in regards to season 4, but there is also a pretty good reason for that: Filming has not even started yet. While we imagine that there will be a good amount of casting information released at some point before we even get to production starting yet, we’re still a little ways away even from that.

Maybe this is why the folks over at DC All Access were so smart when it comes to their timing. In releasing the video below when they did, they have given us at least something to watch, enjoy, and talk about at a time when there is not too much else happening. Is there any surprising information in here? Not really, given that they actually filmed this back at the upfront presentation and the cast probably did not even know very much about what was going to happen just yet.

Still, it is nice to get some reminders from Katie Cassidy about how we’re going to see some more of the tough Laurel Lance moving forward, just like Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards discuss some moments that were particularly great from the past season.

Also, Diggle will at least be getting some more armor … even if that is not a costume per se. We’ll just be glad to see him get something to wear other than the standard-issue leather jacket.

As for when “Arrow” season 4 will premiere, think along the lines of October. That’s when we have seen the past seasons.
