‘Game of Thrones’ season 5, episode 10 (finale) spoilers: Big Lena Headey – Gwendoline Christie scenes

This “Game of Thrones” article is really a tale of two different characters, since we’re talking about someone regarded more as a hero and someone regarded more as a villain. In addition to all of that, we’re also going to be talking about someone who has been in the limelight for a good chunk of the season, and then someone who has been missing in action as of late.

Let’s start here with Cersei. As many of you know already, there is something big inevitably coming when it comes to her and the High Sparrow. Some promotional photos (which have already been released, including the one here) showcase her in a more vulnerable place than we’re used to seeing her. While we’re not sure that anything will turn her into a likable character, it is at least possible that you may harbor a few more complicated feelings for the character after seeing what comes next for her.

Now, let’s turn to Brienne. Per Entertainment Weekly, some of the best stuff for Gwendoline Christie’s character is still to come in the finale. She has spent most of the season wandering around with Podrick, with us hoping that this story would eventually lead us somewhere. Now, it’s starting to look as though it will. Some stories are a little easier to sniff out because of the books, but given where we are now and the path of Brienne in the source material, this is for the most part uncharted water.

We know that there have been reports of some little leaks here and there from the finale, but we’re not going to discuss that here.
