Could a ‘Walking Dead’ alum become Spider-Man? Tyler James Williams is open to it

The Walking Dead -The Marvel Cinematic Universe is certainly a massive one, and there is always room for another actor or two to sign up … right? Well, Marvel’s been hunting for a new Spider-Man for a little while now, and while it is been made clear that they are going to be casting for the Peter Parker role, isn’t it interesting to think about Miles Morales at the same time? Comic-book fans are very familiar with this incarnation of the character, and the idea is already interesting to us to see Tyler James Williams in the role.

Williams is best known for “Everybody Hates Chris” and playing Noah on “The Walking Dead,” but speaking recently to Flicks and the City while at a convention in London, he at least made it clear that he’d be interested if the part came around:

“I’m open to the idea, I am … I’m not like starting campaigns or anything for it because I trust Marvel. I’ve read for them before. I trust what their decisions will be, but yeah, I would love to do it. I would absolutely love to do it.”

It’s obviously not going to happen for the reasons that we just mentioned, but isn’t it still fun to think about? If only Marvel did different universes, then maybe he could play the part for a TV version?

Anyhow, you will get to potentially see Williams again on TV at midseason, as he is a part of the “Criminal Minds” spin-off “Beyond Borders.”
