‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: First look at finale ‘The End in the End’

Bones Logo -One of the interesting things to watch as we get a little bit closer to the end of “Bones” this season is how the show decides to ultimately tie things up. After all, one of the more interesting things to remember is that the show was not officially renewed for an eleventh season until after this finale was written, which does make it possible that we have a fairly ambiguous conclusion to the season. This may be interpreted this way even more so when you realize that the title for the June 11 finale is “The End in the End.” It’s somewhat-repetitive, and could work as a series finale title. We’re lucky that it will not have to.

What is most important about the synopsis below, perhaps even more so than the specific scene, is the person mentioned within it. Even though we know that Pelant is dead, there are still other ways that his memory can haunt Booth and Brennan:

“When the Jeffersonian team discovers remains of a victim, and elements of the crime scene point to a possible protégé of serial killer Christopher Pelant, they must revisit their prior work on Pelant while tracing new clues that will hopefully lead them to the copycat killer. Meanwhile, Angela is skeptical about her and Hodgins decision to move to Paris and Brennan and Booth contemplate options outside of the Jeffersonian and FBI.”

We imagine that the cliffhanger for the season could be Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz’s character pondering other career choices, and we do not really blame them when you remember just how much they have put their own lives on the line in this job. Sooner or later, the temptation is going to be there to opt for something safer.
