‘The Flash’ season 2 spoilers: Captain Cold, Heat Wave (seemingly) not going anywhere yet

Flash -We imagine that there is going to be a drought at some point in the near future when it comes to stories about “The Flash,” mostly because we are around the time of year in which such things happen. Filming will not begin until later in the summer, and at that point we will hopefully start to get a little bit of a better sense of just what the writers could have in store for us.

What we at least have a reminder of for now is that participation in one show is not going to limit participation in all three. Specifically, we are hearing now that we could be seeing Captain Cold and Heat Wave across this show, their permanent gig on “Legends of Tomorrow,” and even “Arrow” this coming season based on what Grant Gustin had to say to BuzzFeed:

“It’s all one show in some ways,” he said of Arrow, Flash, and Legends, which has yet to be scheduled for The CW’s 2015–2016 season. “Like, I’m on Flash, but as far as a lot of those other characters are concerned, they’re just on three TV shows at one time, which is really cool. Wentworth [Miller] and Dominic [Purcell] are on Legends, but they’ll be on Arrowand Flash, too. It’s like a revolving door for all three shows.”

It does make some sense to at least see more of Cold and his partner-in-crime on “The Flash” for the time being, given that we do have some serious loose ends to tie up at the moment with the Rogues. Cold has allowed them to all roam free, thinking that they will owe him something in the future. Will that actually happen? It’s to be seen.
