‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 video: Nicole Gale Anderson talks playing Heather

With the June 11 premiere of “Beauty and the Beast” rapidly approaching on The CW, it is starting to appear more and more like the network is getting liberal with what they are willing to share!

In the latest video below courtesy of the network, you can see more of what new series regular Nicole Gale Anderson has to say about playing Heather, Catherine’s sister who has popped up sporadically throughout the course of the series’ run so far. We’ve come to learn a little bit more about her, but as Anderson herself explains, much of her purpose on the show is to provide another interesting point of view to Cat and the story of Vincent and the other beasts. She provides some lightness and some comic relief; she’s similar in a way to JT, but she is not as deeply involved in the primary story and has the same amount of experience with beasts first-hand.

It feels pretty safe to assume that at some point before we do get to the season 3 finale, Anderson probably will be interacting at least somewhat more with the supernatural; she is already aware of it, and this is a show that tends to incorporate many of their storylines across the board.

We imagine that in some ways, this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to further news related to “Beauty and the Beast.” We are hopefully going to have a heck of a lot more to share by the time the premiere rolls around. (To us, the only sad development is that the original premiere date was tomorrow night.)
