‘The Originals’ season 3 spoilers: Does Phoebe Tonkin still have a huge role?

Is the future bleak for Hayley on “The Originals” season 3? We understand why you would be worried. After what happened during the season 2 finale, Hayley is cursed to remain in wolf form almost constantly unless there is a full moon. Basically, this means that Phoebe Tonkin could have a very different role to play on the show moving forward.

So is it possible that the character could miss some episodes? For the time being, Tonkin is not saying specifically; however, she did comment to TVLine that she is hoping that there will be some cool opportunities for her to still appear moving ahead:

“Right now, we’re only going to see Hayley once a month. I hope that at least one episode will be the full day when I’m human. I’d also like to see Hayley in wolf form. I don’t know if we’ve seen that yet, and it could be really cool.”

Of course, we do wonder how much the show is really going be sticking with this curse for the time being, if for no other reason than that it would keep Hayley away from the rest of the series. The more that we have her around, the worse off that it could be for Klaus. Given that his misery in some bizarre way is tied to the very center of the series, you have to want to see these two characters interacting.

Given that we are still very early in the hiatus for the show, we imagine that in due time, we will have a whole lot more news to share. Be on the lookout!
