‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Sarah Jane Crawford not returning for ‘Xtra Factor’ spin-off

The latest news -The changes for “The X Factor” UK just keep coming. We knew already that Louis Walsh was leaving the judging panel finally after eleven years on the job, and we also knew that Olly Murs and Caroline Flack were coming on as co-hosts to replace Dermot O’Leary, who was in charge of the pace of the show for many years.

Now, we are learning yet again that there are big changes coming for the aftershow “The Xtra Factor,” as Sarah Jane Crawford has confirmed that she is not going to be returning to host that series on ITV2 for the upcoming season. As she explains on Twitter, she is taking the time to work on another project instead of continuing to host the show.

What does this mean? Really, it just means that someone else will be coming on in this spot, and we presume that there are going to be quite a few talented people worthy of the spot. All Simon Cowell and company need to do is find someone with a history presenting, and who understands the tone of this show. This is always meant to be a fully companion to the flagship show, and not something that is meant to be too serious or emotion. It somewhat cools people off after watching the main series on ITV.

Ultimately, we really should say that we feel like there is a sort of expiration date in some ways on “The Xtra Factor” as a series, mostly because singing shows are dying a slow death as a genre and sooner or later, there may not be enough ratings to support this.
