There will be a final season.

It’s been a busy day when it comes to renewals and cancellations, and we have the fate of a couple of other bubble shows coming in now.

“Gossip Girl” – The CW has made the decision to pick up one of its flagships shows for a sixth season, but there’s a catch — it will only be for ten or eleven episodes (even fewer than we expected), and it will serve as the send-off to the series.

“Harry’s Law” – The news is not so good for the Kathy Bates series. Despite being one of the most-watched dramas on NBC, the lack of 18-49 support ultimately doomed the show after only two seasons. The series finale will air later this month.

Stay tuned — we’ll have more news on renewal and cancellations as they happen.
