‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Louis Walsh leaving, Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini seemingly staying

The latest news -This just in: News on “The X Factor” UK that has in some ways been obvious for some time now already: Judge Louis Walsh is not returning for another season. This is according to Dan Wootton of The Sun, who claims via Twitter that it will be a major story in the Sunday edition of the publication. (If you are in Britain, you may be start seeing this in the hours ahead.) He also reports that Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini will be back, which should help to wash away many of the silly rumors in regards to her leaving.

While we are typically skeptical of British tabloids, Wootton and The Sun have had a good pulse on “The X Factor” news lately. They are the same crew who got much of the scoop on the Zayn Malik – One Direction departure, and in all honesty this is all gossip that we’ve heard many times before.

Also, this news is made all the more predictable judging by Walsh saying that he is not going to be returning in a recent TV interview. The only reason that this was not taken as gospel at the time is because we have all heard the talent manager contemplate departing the show for several years now, and he somehow does continue to find his way back.

We’ve heard Robbie Williams be mentioned in the past as one of the possible replacements for Walsh, and maybe he still could be. Given that filming begins on the British series over the course of the coming weeks, there needs to be some sort of firm decision made sooner rather than later.
