‘Arrow’ season 3 finale spoilers: Who is set to appear?

Arrow -The upcoming season 3 finale of “Arrow” is mostly likely going to be a huge episode, and we say that for a variety of reasons. For one, we are going to have a chance to see whether or not the alpha and omega devices end up sending Starling City into an apocalypse. Also, there’s going to be a pretty significant guest-star stopping by!

Per Entertainment Weekly, the finale will contain an appearance from Grant Gustin as Barry Allen / The Flash, making this yet another big crossover between the two shows. Stephen Amell / Oliver Queen / Al Sah-Him / Whatever You Want to Call Him will be on next week’s new episode of “The Flash” entitled “Rogue Air,” and Barry is set to return the favor to help in the showdown that is coming.

As for whether or not there is going to be an enormous cliffhanger leading into season 4, executive producer Marc Guggenheim makes it clear that while there are some surprises ahead including in Wednesday night’s “This Is Your Sword,” there is also not going to be anything too unresolved in the last episode of the spring:

“We’re at the point in the season where, I think our fans know, it’s usually when the culling happens, so I think everyone knows that they’ve got reason to be afraid … The season 3 finale of Arrow is very definitive. It really feels like the end, not just of season 3, but of the first three seasons.”

One final thing worth noting here is that it does not seem like the show is going to try too hard to set up the upcoming spin-off with the Atom and other characters in the finale; maybe that will get more of a setup in season 4, since for now it seems like the focus is more on “Arrow” itself.
