‘NCIS’ season 12, episode 23 preview: Sean Murray previews further ‘The Lost Boys’

NCIS -It may be crazy to think that we are almost at the end of this season of “NCIS” already, but that is the reality of it. Tonight’s new episode is the penultimate one of the season on “The Lost Boys,” and then after that, we are more or less left waiting to see what comes our way in season 13.

First and foremost here, though, we should give you at least one reminder that tonight’s episode is one that you should watch live. There has been countless speculation surrounding a character death, and you should really not expect anything less when you feature a coffin covered in an American flag during one of the previews. We don’t necessarily have further news on that subject just yet, but thanks to the new sneak peek below (via KTLA) from this upcoming new episode, you do at least get a chance to see some more of Sean Murray both talking about the show and also sharing a new sneak peek focusing on the McGee character.

One of the big things that we take away from this preview is really more related to body language than anything else: Even though Murray has been a part of this series for an extraordinary length of time, you really still do get the sense that he actually enjoys it. This is not something that you can always tell from some actors more than a decade into the work. Luckily, part of what makes it work here is getting the chance to balance out the heavy stuff with some fun, witty dialogue from time to time.

We’ll have a further sneak peek later for the finale, so be sure to check back soon!
