NBC’s ‘The Voice’: Craig Wayne Boyd, Vicci Martinez return for results show

The Voice -“The Voice” may not necessarily have a whole lot of hit recording artists among its alumni, but we will at least say that they have always done a pretty good job of bringing back some of the people who have previously appeared on the show.

Tomorrow night, for example, you are finally going to get an appearance from reigning champion Craig Wayne Boyd as he performs his new single “I’m Still Here.” Meanwhile, Yahoo! reports that Vicci Martinez is going to be appearing to perform her own single “Bad News Breaker.” In looking back at the first season of the show, she is probably the artist with the most commercial success since appearing there. Finally, Mjsbigblog reports that Avery Wilson from season 3 is also performing. Admittedly, we barely even remember him from the show, but he is one of those young singers who managed to build a pretty massive social following since being on board the series and now has a large YouTube audience. It’s further proof that you don’t even need to go extremely deep in your season to have a chance at success.

In keeping the tradition strong, we imagine that the reigning champion and potentially one or two other singers tonight will be performing on a results show next season. While the next lineup of coaches has yet to be revealed, we will probably learn that in the weeks ahead.

Given that the finale is coming soon for this season, we also expect a robust roster of performers for that.
