‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2, episode 20 preview: Skye helps Lincoln, but is he thankful?

Skye -Tuesday night’s new episode of “Agents of SHIELD” is the first since “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” and while the events of the feature film are going to be referenced, they will not necessarily be given center stage for the vast majority of the hour.

Instead, you have to be prepared for an episode that is going to focus on a variety of other things instead, and that includes learning a thing or two more when it comes to how Lincoln feels about the outside world. He is not going to be asleep for too much longer; as a matter of fact, he wakes up in the sneak peek below, and starts to question why in the world he would be brought to such a place. Lincoln is a very nervous character, and he has reason to be. After all, he has spent his entire life knowing that he is different and therefore sought-after, and he worries what SHIELD will do to Afterlife.

To us, what this show is more than ever is that there is a divide forming between Skye and the members of SHIELD. She considers them her friends, but at the same time she also has a wonderful new group that she fits into. They understand her in a way that Coulson cannot, and they have taught her more about how to channel her powers.

Let’s hope the two are never diametrically opposed, but even with that being said, this character may still be forced into making some sort of choice by the end of season 2.
